1. What does Distinct Timepieces offer?

Distinct Timepieces is a provider of handmade watch storage rolls and rubber watch straps, with associated social media accounts that provide regular watch-related content.

2. Where are Distinct Timepieces products designed and what materials are they made of?

Our products are designed in Great Britain and we put in extensive effort to ensure we offer you the best materials for the product in question, relative to its price. Our watch rolls are handcrafted from leather alternatives made without using any animal products and our watch straps are made from specially formulated composites to achieve utmost comfort, durability and a premium finish. 

3. Can I trust the Distinct Timepieces store?

All products displayed on the website are physically in-stock at our London warehouse and are ready for dispatch. As soon as a product is not available for immediate dispatch, it will be out of stock on our site and you will not be able to order it. Our store is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant and is hosted by Shopify, meaning your information and card data are protected to the highest level of compliance and payment security standards.

4. How do I care for my Distinct Timepieces products?

Only use a clean, damp cloth to clean your watch roll or watch strap. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. 

5. Are the watches shown in the product images included in the sale of your products?

Distinct Timepieces does not sell any watches and is not associated with any watch brands. Any watches / timepieces you see on this website are only for illustration purposes and will not be included with the product you purchase.

6. How do I return an item?

To initiate a return, please email us at enquiries@distincttimepieces.com with your receipt or proof of purchase. We have a 14-day return policy, so make sure to request a return within 14 days of receiving your item. The item must be in its original condition, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

7. What should I do if I receive a damaged or defective item?

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately. We will assess the issue and make it right. It's important to inspect your order upon delivery and notify us as soon as possible so that we can resolve the problem promptly.

8. Can I exchange an item?

If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest way is to place a separate order for the new item you want. Once we have approved the return of your original item, we will void any restocking fees. Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping costs of the original item.

9. How long does it take to receive a refund?

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you about the approval of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business days and will be credited to your original payment method. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

10. What are the shipping rates?

We offer global shipping on all our products. Orders to be delivered within the United Kingdom are shipped free of charge. For international orders, the shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. If you spend over £80 and are located in one of the eligible countries, shipping will be free of charge.

11. How long does it take to dispatch an order?

We aim to dispatch your order on the same day that we receive it. However, please note that dispatch times may vary depending on the volume of orders we receive. Rest assured, we strive to process and ship your order as quickly as possible.

12. What should I do if my package is lost?

If you suspect that your package has been lost before delivery, please contact us at enquiries@distincttimepieces.com. Our team will take immediate action to resolve the issue and ensure that you receive your order.

13. Do I need to pay customs or import duties?

If you are purchasing from outside of the UK, you may be responsible for any customs or import duty costs. Please check with your local customs office for more information on potential fees or taxes that may apply to your order.

14. Can I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your order, please email us at enquiries@distincttimepieces.com. If your package has not been shipped, we will issue you a full refund. If your item has already been shipped, please contact us to arrange a return.

15. Are there any non-returnable items?

Yes, certain items cannot be returned, including custom products, sale items, and gift cards. Please make sure to review the product description and any applicable return policies before making a purchase.
